What is vitamin D?
Vitamin D is formed in the skin through sunlight and is found in few foods. It contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and to the maintenance of bones and muscles under normal conditions. In winter and in people who go out little, intake is often lower.
How to choose it
D3 (cholecalciferol) is the most common form; vegan D3 from lichen is also available. In drops, pearls or spray; sometimes combined with vitamin K2.
