What is omega 3?
Omega 3s are essential fatty acids. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart (with 250 mg daily), and DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and vision. They are found in oily fish, and in fish oil, krill or algae supplements.
How to choose it
Check the amount of EPA and DHA per dose (not just the oil content) and whether it has a purity certificate. For vegans, algae oil.
