What is peppermint (Mentha × piperita)?
Peppermint and spearmint are aromatic plants widely used as infusions, especially after meals. Peppermint essential oil, rich in menthol, gives a cooling sensation and is used in balms, toothpastes and products for tired legs.
How to choose it
For infusion, the dried leaf or in tea bags; for the skin, a gel or balm that already contains it diluted.
