What is shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii)?
Shea butter is obtained from the fruit of an African tree. It is solid at room temperature and melts with the warmth of the skin; it is used pure or in balms, creams and solid skincare for dry skin, lips and hair.
How to choose it
Pure and unrefined if you want it on its own; if its smell bothers you, in a cream or a balm.
